|| Clean and cut the fish into medium size piecess
|| soak Kudampuli in a cup of warm water and keep it aside.
|| Take a small bowl and add kashmiri red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, 4 tbsp of water to make it a paste.
|| Heat coconut oil in a manchatti ( clay pot ) and add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds start to splutter, add fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, green chilly, shallots, sliced ginger, garlic and saute for 5 minutes.
|| Add the prepared paste to the pan and fry on low flame till the oil separates.
|| Add the soaked Kudampuli, salt, water into it and bring to boil for 5 minutes.
|| Add the fish pieces to it and cook on medium heat till the fish is cooked and the gravy is thick.
